Monjeau Lookout
Our Picnic at Trail 25...at Monjeau
Down the road from Monjeau Lookout is Trail 25.  It is
gorgeous, as you can see from the pictures.   We had a
picnic here, and then followed the hiking trail a while.
We can't wait to come back, leave the kiddos with
grandma, and really hike this trail.   It's beautiful.
Looking for Elk on the ski slopes
(go around 7-8pm in the summer to see them)
Horseback riding at Grindstone Stables
Fun walks and activities
around the cabin
Reiley rode on "Socks", Steve had "Domino",
and I had "Bugs".  Fun!
We saw 7 more bears in one week!
All by our cabin and on our street!
bear 3(walking in the
distance, away from
the dumpster)
bear 1 (and
bear 2 was
behind this
one)
He climbed into the tree
(If you look, you can see
a black image in the
branches), then he fell
out!  It was so funny.   I
got it mostly on video,
sorry.
The other bears were on my other
camera.  We have to wait and add
those later.  Sorry.
Spring break in March...6
inches of snow in one day!!

We drove up to Monjeau
Lookout, which is now
one of our favorite spots
of all in Ruidoso. The
views are spectacular,
there are numerous trails
to follow, picnic spots,
etc.  HIGH
LY
recommended.
